Just got back from a lovely week in this apartment in Troon. We loved the accommodation, it has been really nicely done and we would highly recommend it. It is accurately described so no disappointments. Very spacious and luxurious. Had a nice lunch at the Anchorage pub nearby and really lovely lunch at Scotts at the marina. Thanks to Mr McDonald who was a pleasure to speak to when making the arrangements.

We just want to express our complete satisfaction with the Portland Villa apartment, it was all and more than what we expected. the decor and furnishings are tasteful, modern, bright and well suited for the high ceilings of the apartment. The rooms are spacious, lots of room for luggage etc. the quiet locations excellent with access to shops, harbour and beach front. When next in Scotland we will certainly be booking into the villa and have no hesitation in recommending it to others. Congratulations and well done.

Just wanted to let you know how very much we enjoyed spending a week in your apartment, contact with you when booking was very easy and hassle free gaining access to keys on arrival was efficient and friendly. Apartment was absolutely first class, everything and every room was beautifully clean and fresh to a very high standard lovely fresh linen and clean towels in both bathroom and en-suite. Great villa, great owner!! Mike went out his way to make our stay here special. I got married on Sep 18th 2009 and having lots of friends come from down South meant we wanted to share the weekend with them without having the hassle of check in/out times and many other restrictions you often have in hotels. The villa has EVERYTHING you could need and more, there was even wine there on arrival for you to drink and simply replace for the next guests. It really is a great place and fab location. We will be back, we have all talked about making it a yearly thing. There were 7 of us and still felt like plenty room to move about eat and chill comfortably. Thanks again Mike. Gillian.

Just returned from a truly wonderful week at the Portland Villa. The accommodation was pristine, very modern, with contemporary decor and furnishings and had an extremely tranquil feel about the place. The beds were extremely comfortable and the bed linen was gorgeous. A real home from home! This was our first visit, but it certainly wont be our last. We are already planning next years golfing - shopping trip at the fabulous Portland Villa. Mike get the diary open ready and waiting.

First class accomodations! The high ceilings and large windows give each room a bright airy ambiance. The walk-in storage closets in both bedrooms kept luggage and golf clubs from cluttering rooms. We can only agree with previous comments re nice furnishings, excellent location. Mike was a pleasure to deal with and ‘Gal Friday’ Fiona keeps the place neat and very clean. Highly recommendable!
