By Air - Glasgow Prestwick International Airport

Exit airport, turn right on A79 Troon/Irvine/Kilmarnock, through next roundabout, take next road on the left B749 to Troon town centre, continue through traffic lights along Templehill.   Portland Villa, Wood Place on LHS at end of Templehill.

 

 

By Bus - Ayr Bus Station

Bus No. 14 to Troon Town centre.   From traffic lights proceed along Templehill.   Portland Villa, Wood Place situation on LHS at end of Templehill.

 

 

By Ferry  - Troon Terminal

Exit terminal turn right, take first left and then right.   Portland Villa, Wood Place in 2nd house on LHS

 

 

By Ferry - Ardrossan Terminal

Exit terminal, continue on road   and proceed along Princess Street.   At top of Princes Street traffic lights, turn right for Ayr/Irvine/Kilmarnock on Saltcoats/Stevenston High Road. Reaching next junction take road to left for Kilwinning/Irvine/Ayr, at shopping centre take road to right to next roundabout, take 3rd turning off onto by-pass for Ayr/Irvine/Kilmarnock/Troon.   Proceed through next roundabout approx 7/8 miles, at next roundabout follow signs for Prestwick Airport turning right, 100 yards from this roundabout take slip road to go across traffic B749 to Troon.   Follow this road into Troon Town Centre, through traffic lights and along Templehill.   Portland Villa, Wood Place on LHS at end of Templehill.

By Rail - Troon Station

Take route from station towards Troon Town Centre, at main road turn left,then take second on right.   Proceed straight on this street, Ayr Street, through traffic lights and along Templehill.   Portland Villa, Wood Place, is on LHS at end of Templehill.

 

 

From Tourist Information Centre – Ayr

Follow one way system from Sandgate, take 3rd turning off roundabout into Academy Street, go right at bottom of Academy   Street and   turn left at Traffic lights, at next set of lights take right, then left at next roundabout (at police station).     Continue straight on this road heading towards Prestwick, straight through Prestwick Main Street and several traffic lights. At next roundabout take first left passing Prestwick Airport on A79. Through next two roundabouts, take first left B749 to Troon.   Follow this road into Troon Town centre, through traffic lights proceed along Templehill.   Portland Villa, Wood Place is situated at LHS at end of Templehill.
